Networking and Alliances

We believe that networks and alliances are sharing-learning spaces that provide opportunities for collective actions to move towards achieving goals of transformative changes in society and also for policy advocacy from pro-people perspective. SAMYAK is part of various local, national and international networks and alliances advocating gender justice and health rights. We draw our inspirations and learnings from these alliances and translate it in to our practice, while we enrich these processes by sharing our field experiences of working with rural and urban communities. SAMYAK meaningfully contribute to these networks and alliances in various ways. Presently SAMYAK is active with following networks and alliances -
  • Forum to Engage Men (FEM), India
  • South Asian Network to Address Masculinities (SANAM)
  • MenEngage
  • Together for Transformation: Gender-sensitive Active Nonviolent Men
  • WeMen for Equality
  • Jana Arogya Abhiya
